Kieren James-Lubin is a PhD student in Mathematical Physics at UC-Berkeley. He focuses on Statistical Mechanics, which he studies under Professor Nicolai Reshetikhin. Kieren is one of the founding directors of the Cryptocurrency Research Group.
Aaron Wright is the Director of Cardozo Law School’s Tech Startup Clinic. He focuses on counseling technology companies, including companies in the cryptocurrency space. Before joining Cardozo, he started and sold a company to Wikia, Inc. (founded by Wikipedia founder, Jimmy Wales), where he served as the company’s General Counsel and Vice President of Product and Business Development. Aaron also clerked for a federal judge and practiced at several prominent law firms. Aaron is one of the founding directors of the Cryptocurrency Research Group.
Vitalik Buterin is a long-time advocate and developer of cryptocurrency technologies. His first involvement in the space was as the cofounder and head writer of Bitcoin Magazine starting from 2011, and he has also written a number of software libraries to make cryptocurrency easy to use. Vitalik’s current focus is on the Ethereum project, a generalized blockchain platform he inventedin November 2013, and for which he is now a core developer.
